SimplyConnect is a virtual airline (VA) which is an online organisation of flight simulator enthusiasts flying together in one community under one name. The idea is to make the flight simulator experience more realistic and enjoyable.
We operate a varied fleet of aircraft, from turboprops right up to the latest most technologically advanced jet airliners. For the more advanced pilot in command we use both IVAO and VATSIM online gaming servers and for the less experienced we have an option of flying offline for you to get your bearings. We also host weekly online/offline group events for all.

Acars App Updates

Could all pilots please ensure they keep their acars app up to date, by ticking the check for updates option in the acars settings (Latest version 1308). There have been a number of updates to the acars app over the last few weeks including: Automatically pulling your simbrief aircraft, load and route data straight in to the acars app, improved landing rate monitoring and more stats around your flight. Some of these new stats are not yet visible to you but will be part of features on the website in coming weeks. If you do not keep your Acars app up to date you may find it stops working or your flight reports are rejected in the future.Charity Event

One of our real life pilots has written some excellent documentation on Starting up the Airbus A319-320-321 aircrafts, as well as how to taxi, take off and prepare for descent. Even if you don't fly Airbus there is plenty of useful information in them so please take some time to read and learn from the experts! Sometimes MSFS will report its location as 0,0 to ACARS. To try and combat this issue please ensure you update your acars app to the latest version (this can be done by turn on check for beta updates in the settings section). Also only press start flight AFTER you spawn in to your aircraft at your departure location
